In 2006, Tamas relocated to the United States and began working in the construction industry. For several years, he specialized in home remodeling and repairs before obtaining his home inspector license.

He concurrently conducted home inspections, along with his work as a construction professional. In 2017, Hurricane Irma struck Florida which resulted in approximately 1,500 claims that required handling across multiple carriers and adjusting firms.

At this point in time, while still engaged in residential Hurricane Ian claims work, SCC reached out, inviting Tamas to join the organization. Since October 2022, he has been proud to work alongside SCC’s esteemed team of professionals.
