Craig Kobel has been named President of the firms Large Loss Division. Craig comes to SCC after successfully transforming a small family-owned public adjusting company into one of the top firms in the State of Florida. In 2021, Craig sold his interest in the firm, and launched Omni Claim Solutions, a loss consulting firm specializing in multi-million-dollar catastrophic claims nationwide. Recognizing the power in joining forces with his largest competitor, Craig Kobel and Brandon Lewis, CEO of SCC, set out to negotiate a union that would align two of the top companies in the industry. With this merger, SCC projects to set the elite standard for professional claim representation across the nation for decades to come.
Craig is frequently asked to speak on numerous panels and present on complex insurance claim issues throughout the country. Having established a foundation of integrity and credibility with top insurance company personnel, brokers, and defense attorneys, SCC’s clients find an easier path to a successful claim outcome.
Introduced to the property claims industry as an independent claims adjuster in 2011, Craig transitioned to a public adjuster in 2015. With the guidance, training, and mentorship from some of the top experts in the industry, Mr. Kobel quickly became known by his peers as one of top public adjusting executives in the country under the age of 40. Since 2015, Craig and his teams have successfully obtained claim settlements for their clients that exceed a half a billion dollars.
Residing in Tampa, Craig is a graduate of the University of South Florida where he also lettered as a member of the football program. Following his collegiate playing career, Craig spent time in the National Football League as a linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Craig and his wife Jennifer have four children, Brayden (age 13), Emery (age 8), Ethan (age 6), and Harlow (2).
